Meet Valeria Fic

I founded the School of Couture in 2018 with one conviction: haute couture embroidery should not be locked inside Parisian ateliers.

For 13 years I have worked where art meets fashion — creating pieces worn at the Cannes Film Festival, winning the internationally recognised Hand & Lock Prize in London, and being featured in magazines as a leading voice in couture craftsmanship.

My students tell me the same thing when they first arrive: "I'm not sure I'm talented enough." Thirteen lessons in, they're creating work that belongs on gallery walls.
