The Embroidery Challenge

The embroidery challenge has become a beloved tradition, where our school students test their skills and knowledge by recreating iconic 20th-century designs from renowned fashion houses. This practice not only deepens understanding of fashion history and period styles but also helps master historical embroidery techniques.

Participants develop logical thinking and analytical skills to identify specific techniques used. Recreating historical embroidery also introduces students to various new embroidery methods. Students receive reference images, the historical context, fashion house names, and appropriate materials. As visible from the outcomes, our training is highly effective—even online courses can significantly improve your mastery or teach beginners to craft stunning pieces.
